Our standard returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

We stand by the quality of the gear we make. All items designed and manufactured in-house by Iron Outpost Co. carry a standard 6-month warranty. We guarantee that our products are free from manufacturing or material defects, are in good working order, and are durable enough for their intended use.
We also stock high-quality gear from other trusted manufacturers. For products not manufactured by Iron Outpost Co., the original manufacturer's warranty and terms will apply. We are happy to assist you in facilitating a warranty claim with the original manufacturer, but the final assessment, approval, and provision of replacements or repairs will be at their discretion.
If an Iron Outpost Co. product falls short of our standard within six months of delivery, please contact us to log a return. Upon assessing and confirming the defect, you will have the choice to have the item:

To log a claim for either an in-house or third-party product, please email our support team at info@ironoutpost.co.za with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs of the defect.
The product must be returned to us for physical inspection before any repair, replacement, or refund is authorized. If the item is found to be defective under warranty, Iron Outpost Co. (or the relevant manufacturer) will cover the reasonable return shipping costs. If the damage is the result of user error, improper installation, or external factors (as listed above), the warranty claim will be denied, and you will be responsible for the assessment and return shipping costs.
Because our products are marketed as Do-It-Yourself (DIY) components, proper installation is solely the responsibility of the customer. Consequently, the Product Warranty DOES NOT COVER, and Iron Outpost Co. accepts ABSOLUTELY NO LIABILITY FOR, damage caused during or as a result of installation. This warranty exclusion explicitly includes:
Iron Outpost Co. reserves the right to thoroughly inspect any product returned under a warranty claim. We require detailed high-resolution photographs as initial evidence.

Iron Outpost Co. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy
1. Returns on Standard (Non-Custom) Goods
Our standard returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Eligibility for a Return: To accurately facilitate your return and be eligible, the item must meet the following criteria:
Unused: The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition that you received it.
Original Packaging: It must be in the complete original packaging.
Return Procedure:
Request a Form: Email us at info@ironoutpost.co.za to receive a mandatory Return Form. This form must accompany your return.
Mail the Product: Once your return is authorized, you must mail the product, at your own cost, to: Iron Outpost Co., 63 Marne Road, Noordheuwel Ext.4, Krugersdorp, 1739
Shipping Responsibility: The client is responsible for all shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Iron Outpost Co. is not liable for items lost in transit during a return; we recommend using a tracked courier service.
2. Exchanges (Defective or Damaged Items)
We only replace items if they are confirmed to be defective due to manufacturing faults or are damaged upon arrival.
Procedure for Exchanges: If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please:
Send an email to info@ironoutpost.co.za.
Provide photographic evidence clearly detailing the damage or the defective manufacturing defect.
Upon verification of the defect, we will confirm and arrange for the collection of the item (at our cost, if confirmed defective upon arrival).
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
3. Order Cancellations and Fees
Order cancellations generate administrative and transaction costs that Iron Outpost Co. must recover. A cancellation charge applies to orders that are cancelled after payment has been made but before dispatch.
Cancellation Fees:
Credit Card, Debit Card, or Instant EFT Payments: A cancellation fee of 20% of the total order value (excluding shipping) will apply. This fee is to cover non-refundable administration costs, bank charges, and fees associated with third-party payment providers (e.g., PayFast or Yoco), which do not refund the initial transaction fees for cancelled or refunded orders.
EFT Payments: Cancellations on orders paid via direct Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to our bank account will not incur a cancellation fee, as direct EFT transactions minimize non-refundable third-party costs.
4. Refunds (Processing & Late Refunds)
Standard Refund Process:
Receipt & Inspection: Once your authorized return is received, it will be thoroughly inspected to ensure it meets the "Eligibility for a Return" requirements (Unused and Original Packaging).
Notification: We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and will inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the inspection.
Processing: If you are approved, your refund (minus any applicable cancellation or non-refundable shipping fees) will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a reasonable number of business days, dictated by the payment gateway or banking institution.
Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet:
Wait: Allow several business days for standard processing times within South Africa.
Check Bank Account: Periodically check your bank account again.
Contact Credit Card/Gateway: Contact your credit card company or the payment gateway used (e.g., PayFast); it may take some time before your refund is officially posted by them.
Contact Bank: Next, contact your bank, as there is often processing time before a refund is posted.
Contact Us: If you’ve completed these steps and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@ironoutpost.co.za
